The Swim It is a comfortable, reuseable, personal flotation device (PFD). It delivers Peace of Mind to athletes looking to gain a competitive advantage in the open water. The Swim It was designed by triathletes for triathletes. Providing no drag to the swimmer when worn, the Swim It can quickly inflate with just a jerk of the inflation tab. It delivers 7 pounds of flotation when inflated! Now you can swim with confidence! The Swim'it

The Swim It has been tested and approved by USA Triathlon (USAT) and World Triathlon Corp (aka Ironman). It is race legal in all USAT and Ironman sanctioned events!

Just strap It on your right leg, and go for a swim! If needed, grab the red “jerk to inflate” tab and give it a jerk! Your life jacket will automatically inflate and float to the surface next to you. NOTE: deploying the Swim It during a USAT/Ironman sanctioned race will result in disqualification! But hey, you will be alive to race another day… That’s a pretty good deal! Deploying the Swim It during a training swim is just plain fun!

The SwimIt is a one of a kind personal safety device that allows freedom to swim in the open water without the bulk of traditional life jackets. It can be worn at the lake, the beach, surfing, snorkeling, fishing, boating, kayaking or anywhere you find the need for flotation.

About Kathy Dowsett

I believe in protecting our oceans, lakes and rivers, as well as their aquatic life. I respect the work of conservation groups such as Save the Sharks, Save the Sea Turtles and Save our Wrecks. I believe that the use of plastic bags/bottled water should be discouraged as plastic finds its way to the ocean. I also support Diving for the Disabled and Swimming for the Disabled. As a PADI-certified diver, my interest in diving led to the opening in July 2008 of kirkscubagear, my online business. My site offers more than 2,000 products, including freediving, swimming and outdoor equipment. My continuing goal is to encourage diving and offer customers a shopping alternative for the purchase of scuba gear.

  1. Well I’m going to have to do some more research, but this is a really good spring board.
