Cressi has introduced a new back inflation travel BC designed to help scuba divers wanting to make dive travel more affordable and enjoyable. The new Air Travel BCD has started shipping to Cressi-affiliated dive centers and is a product dive stores are very enthusiastic about.
According to Cressi’s Director of Operations Rob Cooper, “The Air Travel BCD was developed in response to divers wanting a lightweight BC that would be more appropriate for travel – specifically ‘Air Travel.’ The product doesn’t just weigh less than other buoyancy compensators, but it’s also strong and is built for performance.”
Cooper said the Air Travel, which has a suggested retail price of $439.95,(kirkscubagear $431.99) will be available in blue or pink. He noted the Air Travel is light weight, extremely durable and it folds up into its included travel bag. Media outlets that have previewed the Air Travel BCD has been very impressed and preliminary reviews are starting to see publication now.
