Ease for the feet for swimmers!!!

kirkscubagear is pleased to announce the shinfin ™ fins for swimmers.

shinfin™ fin ~ fins for legs…why?

~ Foot flippers hurt your feet – They often cause sores, blisters and cramps in the arches of your feet. shinfin™ leg flippers fit to your legs, so they don’t hurt your feet.

~ Foot flippers don’t fit – Finding a comfortable foot flipper is often very difficult. Even choosing from nine sizes, you still can’t vary the width to fit your feet. They also feel different in the water than in the shop. shinfin™ leg flippers flex to fit your leg, with or without a wetsuit. They are guaranteed to fit.

~ Foot flippers trip you up – It can be hard and dangerous to walk with foot flippers. It is easy to walk with shinfin™ leg flippers. They bend with your ankle as you walk.

~ Foot flippers are heavy – Many foot flippers weigh about 600 g each. Some are as heavy as 800 g or more. At only 300g, a shinfin™ leg flipper with strap is about as light as a running shoe.

~ Foot flippers stress your ankles – This is because the forces must go through your ankle to push your body. shinfin™ leg flippers attach above your ankle, so they don’t stress your ankle joints.

~ Foot flippers strain your calf muscles – Pointing your foot to keep the foot flipper in position can cause pain and cramps in your calf muscles. (Point your foot now and feel the calf muscle strain). shinfin™ leg flippers are not held in position by straining your calf muscles.

~ Foot flippers change your kick – They restrict your feet and ankles so you can’t kick normally. shinfin™ leg flippers leave your feet and ankles relaxed for your normal kick.

~ Foot flippers cause too much knee-bend – The fin area beyond your foot causes your knee to drop too low, away from the natural streamlined kick. shinfin™ leg flippers actively encourage an elite streamlined kick for freestyle, fly and backstroke.

~ Foot flippers fall off – They fall off especially in waves when the foot pocket slips or rips. shinfin™ leg flippers strap twice around your leg so they don’t fall off.

~ Foot flippers sink – Most foot flippers sink so they are easy to lose when they fall off in the sea. shinfin™ leg flippers don’t fall off.

~ Foot flippers break – They often rip, especially at the heel pocket. Broken flippers are washed up on beaches. shinfin™ leg flippers are much tougher, without the heel pocket weakness.

~ Foot flippers rot – They rot from exposure to pool water, salt water and sunlight. shinfin™ polyurethane is more durable than most foot flipper rubbers.

When you think about it:::it makes sense!!!

About Kathy Dowsett

I believe in protecting our oceans, lakes and rivers, as well as their aquatic life. I respect the work of conservation groups such as Save the Sharks, Save the Sea Turtles and Save our Wrecks. I believe that the use of plastic bags/bottled water should be discouraged as plastic finds its way to the ocean. I also support Diving for the Disabled and Swimming for the Disabled. As a PADI-certified diver, my interest in diving led to the opening in July 2008 of kirkscubagear, my online business. My site offers more than 2,000 products, including freediving, swimming and outdoor equipment. My continuing goal is to encourage diving and offer customers a shopping alternative for the purchase of scuba gear.
